Beatrice Leon is an accomplished Information Technology professional with over 30 years of corporate experience including a C-Suite level position. As Chief Information Officer of a global wines and spirits corporation, Beatrice managed large teams across the Americas and played an integral role in directing the IT intricacies during company mergers and acquisitions.
She is known as an insightful, fair leader, capable of making tough decisions. Colleagues past and present credit her ability to lead with vision, creativity, and strength while bringing out the best in her teams. Multicultural by nature – Beatrice speaks English and French – she also excels in understanding and navigating different “business cultures” within the same company.
Throughout her entire career, Beatrice has been mentoring and coaching colleagues and professionals. Most recently, from 2007-2013 she supplemented her corporate work with voluntary career coaching of Columbia students in the Masters of Information Technology program. During this tenure she coached Senior level IT employees to prepare for their next move as VP of IT or as CIO. Beatrice is currently involved in a non-profit organization coaching young people from underserved communities to help them obtain a job in the corporate world.
In October 2014 Beatrice achieve the Columbia University Coaching Certificate Program from Columbia University in New York.
